An Innovation in Collaboration
Rio Reveals is a partnership between non-profit (River LA) and leading experiential studio (13Exp) to reimagine HOW we build community and resources together.
The COVID landscape has sped up an inevitable realization of how we are stronger when artists and community have an inter-reliant ecosystem.
Not only reimagining WHAT we do, but HOW we do it together.
In the production of Rio Reveals, we are creating jobs for artists
alongside a sustainable fundraising resource for the future of the LA River.
13Exp is committed to partnerships. The work of real partnerships are challenging,
and yet that challenge creates experiences with new financial, audience, and making models.
13Exp is an experiential entertainment studio creating original work with poetry, grit, laughter, and wonder. 13Exp centers the joyful intersection of BIPOC, women, LBGTQIA, and underrepresented visions.
Founded by Mikhael Tara Garver, she has brought together leadership across art-forms, entertainment, and civic empowerment. We are the leaders in the ever-growing field of Experiential Entertainment.
We believe experiential is, at its best, celebrating what it is to be human in story-worlds that cross space, time, digital, and physical mediums. We develop work that moves us all towards revolutionary imagination.
